If you want to add Auxiliary Light(s) to your bike, then these Relay Kits make it easy to do a first class installation. Just add the lights - sorry I do not sell Auxiliary Lights at this point in time.

These kits provide everything you need, fully assembled and ready to install on your bike. For switching your lights, the kits provide a pair of wires for a manual switch, and a 'trigger' wire to power the switch. The trigger wire allows you to choose a method of auto-switching your lights as follows:

1 - lights available with high beam only

2 - lights available with low beam only

3 - lights available with either beam on

4 - lights available anytime the ignition is on

You select an option above, by choosing which wire you tap for switching the relay. See the Help Page for info about this, and a sample wiring diagram.

A manual switch (not included, but wired for) allows you to turn your auxiliary lights off at any time. See here for some switches. If you want to use my LED Contura Rocker Switch, I can install a jumper for the LED function. Available at no extra charge if you buy a switch too.

I do recommend that you always use a manual switch, but if you don't want to use a manual switch, the Kit is very easy to change to use only a single switching lead or an Autoswitch.

You can use an Autoswitch by easily modifying the switch wiring as shown here.

If you will be using an Autoswitch, you should order an extra Posi-Tap PT1800 and a Posi-Lock PL1824. One Posi-Tap is included on this Kit as shown on the Ignition Switched wire above. Other types of connectors can of course be used.

These Kits use 14 AWG wire on the main leads, and 16 AWG wire on all other wires.

Order an Auxiliary Lights Relay Kit:

Most Auxiliary Lights take push-on female spade terminals. Amp Faston tin plated brass terminals are used on these Kits. These terminals lock on and will not work loose. They are sheathed with Sumitomo's incredible Sumitube shrink tube to seal out moisture and provide an excellent strain relief.

Some Auxiliary Lights come with bullet connectors. For these types I use Yazaki high quality bullet connectors as shown below.

FREE - Switching Lead Posi-Tap Choice: The Kits normally come with the PTA1416 which will fit most bikes but it's nice to have the right size. I now give you a choice of Posi-Tap to suit different wire sizes. Some bikes, especially CanBUS bikes have very small wires. The parking light wire definitely needs a PTA2024 it's so small. There is no charge for this option but of course you must be buying a Relay Kit above. See the Posi Products Page for info about Posi-Taps and their sizes. Buy a few sizes at the above link and make sure you have one that fits just right.

Auxiliary Light Kit Options 2 Female Spades Most lights take push-on female spade terminals. 1 Male/1 Female Bullet Some PIAA Aux. Lights come with 1 female and 1 male bullet. LED Rocker Switch Wiring, includes jumper and 36" ground with Posi-Tap. This option makes everything 'plug and play' by providing everything you need integrated into the Aux. Lights Kit and includes the short jumper on the switching lead, and the LED grounding wire with a Posi-Tap. ORDER ONLY IF YOU ARE BUYING AN AUXILIARY LIGHTS KIT. Positioning: The kit is designed to put the relay under the gas tank. The relay is very small and easy to tuck into the wiring under the tank on most bikes. There is enough wire to move it to the front or rear under the tank. If you want longer or shorter wires to the relay, so that you can mount it closer to the battery, relay box, or fuse box, or if you want to put the relay forward of the tank near the headlights or in a fairing, then please order a custom kit with a different configuration.

Adjustable: The light wires can easily be shortened to the exact size needed, and reattached to the kit's Posi-Locks. Make sure of your lengths with everything mounted before you cut the light wires.

Light Wire Pairs:  The Regular Kit's Light Wires should be long enough for just about any application, but if you have a particularly long run to your lights (like lower on the front forks), then order the extra long kit if you think you'll need it. It is easy to shorten the wires.
