Contura SPST LED Rocker Switch Details
The tabs on the switch bottom are numbered. Look for numbers molded into the housing along the sides next to the tabs. The usage of the numbered tabs is as follows:
2 - switch input - power into the switch, best if switched power so switch can’t be activated when bike is not on
3 - switch output - power out of the switch either to the relay coil power or directly to the accessory
7 - LED ground - this tab must be grounded for the LEDs to be active. It’s not necessary if you don’t need the LEDs.
8 - Label LED power - will light the green label area when ever the switch is powered. This wire should always be powered from a switched source on the bike.
NOTE: #2 and #8 can be powered from the same wire with a jumper between the two tabs as shown below.
Above you can see how the switch should be wired.
Yellow wire is the switch output.
Red wire is ignition switched input, with jumper to power the LED.
Black wire is ground for the LED.
Contura DPDT On/Off/On LED Rocker Switch Tab Assignments:
7 - LED ground (same on all Contura LED rockers) 8 - LED power (same on all Contura LED rockers) 4 - circuit 1 on 1 5 - circuit 1 off 6 - circuit 1 on 2 1 - circuit 2 on 1 2 - circuit 2 off 3 - circuit 2 on 2
Contura DPST On/Off Amber Rocker Switch Tab Assignments:
2 - circuit one input 3 - circuit one output 5 - circuit two input 6 - circuit two output 7 - amber light ground
Above you can see the tab assignments. P1 is Pole One, P2 is Pole 2. LEDs and the Amber light all need a ground, tab 7. LED running lights need an extra power input, tab 8, which would be switched power so it’s only illuminated when the bike is on. ON lights are wired for power internally but need the ground to work.
DPST Toggle Switch.
I have labelled the 4 tabs with the same numbers as the rocker switch above. For the H4 Dual Relay Kit with One Headlight Cut with 4 switching wires, place yellow wire with red cover on 5, other yellow wire on 6. Place white wire with red cover on 2, other white wire on 3.
Below are the wire positions of my H4 Dual Headlight Kit with one Headlight Cut. Yellow represents one pole, white the other.

Handlebar Lighting Switch with Kill/Horn Button Wiring Details
I have mapped out three options you might want for your lights. Many other options are possible.
Mode 1: Use to control headlights only. Use to make offroad bikes street legal, or to replace a broken HI/LO switch etc.
Off - No Headlights
Lo - LO Beam Headlight
Hi - HI Beam Headlight
Red Wire - Switched Power (on when bike is turned on)
Blue Wire - output to LO beam relay coil positive
Yellow Wire - output to HI beam relay coil positive
Mode 2: Use to control the headlight and two pairs of auxiliary lights.
Off - Normal Headlight Operation
Lo - Normal Headlight HI or LO plus Fog/Running Lights
Hi - Normal Headlight HI or LO plus Driving Lights
Red Wire - Switched Power (on when bike is turned on)
Green Wire - output to Fog Lights relay coil positive
Yellow Wire - output to Driving Lights relay coil positive
Mode 3: Use to control headlights and two pairs of auxiliary lights. (if you want normal headlight operation only you will need to add the on/off barswitch)
Off - Normal Headlight plus Fog/Running Lights
Lo - Normal Headlight plus Driving Lights
Hi - Normal Headlight plus Fog Lights and Driving Lights
Red Wire - Switched Power (on when bike is turned on)
Blue Wire - output to Fog Lights relay coil positive
Yellow Wire - output to Driving Lights relay coil positive
For use with additional on/off switch, the extra switch should feed the red wire power in its on position.
Kill/Horn Button
The black and white wires are connected when the button is pushed.
White wire - switched power (on when bike is turned on)
Black wire - output to horn relay’s coil positive
Wire Connections
Off - blue-green
Lo - red-green/red-blue/green-blue
Hi - red-yellow/red-blue/yellow-blue
Button - white-black
